Here’s my process:
- I work from photos. The client and I decide on the perfect photo I will use as my main reference. That said, I love to have additional photos (if possible) for further reference. I can provide you with photography tips and if you are in the Los Angeles area… I am happy to take my own photography (free of charge).
- Client decides on the canvas size.
- Before I start painting, I provide my clients with a computer generated mock-up of the portrait for their approval.
- Once client approves the final composition… Portraits generally take 4 to 6 weeks. If you are working within a specific timeline, I can generally accommodate.
Here’s what you’ll receive:
- Original acrylic painting on “gallery wrapped” canvas.
- No framing required… but, you may frame on your own.
- Protective gloss varnish included.
Here’s my pricing:
- Basic rates for a portrait (head and shoulders) with a monochromatic background (2024).
- Multiple pets can be added to canvas for an additional charge.
- Custom sizes are available.
